The Calender
성공회 교회력은 초기 기독교 교회에서부터 이어진 전통에 뿌리를 두고 있으며, 예수 그리스도의 생애와 사역을 중심으로 한 절기들이 역사 속에서 발전해 왔습니다. 초기 교회는 부활절을 가장 중요한 절기로 삼고 그리스도의 부활을 축하했으며, 이후 성탄절, 주현절 등 그리스도의 생애를 기념하는 절기들이 추가되었습니다. 16세기 종교개혁 시기에도 성공회는 교회력을 유지하면서도 개혁의 정신을 반영하여 더욱 성경적인 전례와 절기를 강조했습니다. 이로써 성공회 교회력은 대림절로 시작하여 성탄절, 사순절, 부활절, 성령 강림절로 이어지는 전례적 순환을 통해 성도들이 해마다 구속사에 참여하고, 예수님의 구원 사역을 전례적으로 경험하도록 돕는 영적 여정이 되었습니다.
